About Ramona

Ramona Armitage is a mixed media artist working out of her studio in Wimbledon, South London.

Her work draws inspiration from music and is driven by the neurological condition, Synesthesia, in which particular musical tones, notes and instruments present visual auras.

Through the process of layering and building colour, she creates vibrant and flowing dreamscapes that melt into themselves and capture the energy and motion of the music.

Ramona Armitage completed a Foundation Diploma at Leeds Art University, continuing to study BA Graphic Design at The University of the Creative Arts. After graduating in 2014, she began to explore portraiture and abstract painting.
